Voice and likeness are deeply personal. AncestLore lets you preserve and recreate them — and that power comes with responsibility.
By uploading materials you confirm that
- You own the materials, or you have explicit permission from the rights holder to use them.
- You have the authority to create AI voice recreations from any voice samples you upload.
- You have the authority to create AI image, video, or likeness recreations from any photos or videos you upload.
- For living people, you have their informed consent (see the Living Person Consent Policy).
- For deceased people, you have a legitimate relationship and a respectful purpose (see the Deceased Loved One Policy).
What we will refuse to do
- Generate voice or likeness content of public figures, celebrities, or strangers without proven authority.
- Generate sexual, violent, defamatory, or harassing content.
- Generate content intended to deceive others into believing it is real.
If we receive a complaint
If a rights holder, family member, or estate notifies us that a voice or likeness was uploaded without authority, we will suspend the affected outputs while we investigate, and we may remove them permanently. See the Copyright & Takedown Policy.
